Reflexology Helps Reduce Stress
In a recent study at the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland by the Health and Science Research Group showed that participants that had received reflexology for 20 minutes after a stressful event had a lower heart rate and blood pressure than the group that had no treatment given.
The study showed that foot reflexology may be recommended as a complementary modality to help improve the symptoms in individuals that were having issues of depression, anxiety, and poor sleep quality.
